This travel trailer has the same layout as model 18MBS, but you'll enjoy a fixed RV queen bed up front instead of the Murphy bed. The full rear bath includes a linen closet and a wardrobe to keep your necessities organized, and you'll find additional storage throughout this model for your belongings. The vintage booth dinette will be the perfect place to dine at after dinner is made on the two burner cooktop. There is also a microwave oven for quick meals and a 6 cu. ft. double door refrigerator for cold drinks and perishables. And don't forget about the exterior pass-through storage for your larger camp gear!
With any Vintage Cruiser by Gulf Stream you will be taken back to the fun of the 50's with vintage exterior graphics and classic interiors. Each model is constructed with a six-sided welded aluminum frame, vacuum bonded sidewalls with Azdel, and a vintage painted bumper you are sure to love. You may like to choose the optional "Woody" Package that includes an Oyster painted A-frame, Hickory Saddle floor vinyl, Southern Pine Sidewalls, and more rustic cabin features. The Vintage Cruiser travel trailers include high-performance vinyl flooring, LED interior ceiling lights, a seamless tub/shower surround, and vintage flat cabinet doors to name a few comforts you'll find throughout. These models are also prewired for roof A/C and come with a standard 20,000 BTU furnace or a 16,000 BTU furnace, depending on the model you choose. Gulf Stream, a leading manufacturer of a full range of RV products was founded and is still owned by the Shea family, originating in the small community of Nappanee, Indiana in 1971. Founder Jim Shea Sr. was inspired by the quintessentially entrepreneurial spirit of Elkhart County Indiana, and was particularly to the heritage of craftsmanship found in Nappanee, where ties to Amish and Mennonite traditions of handcrafted furnishings and homes were still strong.
Back then, the family operation consisted of manufactured housing (Fairmont Homes). Jim Shea built the operation from the ground up. He ran the show and his sons joined him learning the business through good old fashioned hands-on experience.
In 1983, the Shea’s established Gulf Stream Coach producing a top quality line of motor homes, travel trailers, and fifth wheel trailers. Gulf Stream’s first RV, the Foxfire travel trailer, benefited from techniques that had made their housing company successful. It allowed Gulf Stream Coach to put things in the Foxfire that weren’t seen in travel trailers.
The company continued to grow and in the 1990’s the three sons assumed the lead in day to day operations. The family patriarch and company founder was recognized for his career contributions to the recreational vehicle and manufactured housing industries by being named to the MH/RV Hall of Fame
